It's June 1st amazing. How does the time slip by so fast? I just returned from Yosemite, we had various weather conditions, mishaps, and beautiful scenery (look for photos). This was my youngest daughter's 6th grade class' field trip. We have lucked out with weather here in Sac no 90 degree weather yet, knock on wood!!! On to our next adventure, Emma's high school graduation. We will have a party on Sat. the actual graduation on Tues. and I am so proud of her, she has accomplished so much and has unlimited potential for the future. Proud Mom

We had a brief break from the kids school and work so we vacationed, in Disneyland yeah! The weather cooperated for just the briefest of moments and the trees took advantage. I captured some of them as they burst forth with beauty.

Just another day in inspiration's garden

Looks can be deceiving. Yes we are great soccer fans and we all love to play soccer. But to the naked eye there is nothing missing, ok! I'll just tell you (you don't have to read between the shoes) My cleats are missing :( Yes this photo was taken by the front door as a fall weekend tournament came to a close. But after my August 17 ACL surgery my cleats were nowhere to be seen. I am still working really hard to get full recovery in my knee, but I still go out to soccer to watch and support my family at their games. It is Dec. now and the season is still going for us. Mackena's team took 2nd in District Cup and Emma's team took 1st place in their division. Mackena's will play again in Jan for Association Cup and Emma's team will play in March, same tournament. I hope I will be playing by March or so. Wish us luck.

In the meantime, I have had time to get a great pedicure and wanted to flaunt my cute poka-dot toes. Nothing wrong with those feet!!

And just for fun a little Christmas cheer. Have a bright and lovley Christmas. I'll be enjoying my family, making fun little lovley things and sitting by the fire with dogs and a jealous cat.

Happy Holidays and most fortune in the coming year,
Lisa

Wow, a whole new world opens right before my eyes. Can't wait to see where this path might lead me. Not that I needed new paths to follow at this point in my life, but I was always one who loved to start something new. I loved to start a new class, or start a new craft project, or even to experience the start of a new season. So here it goes........
